Xinjiang in Dec/Jan is adapt to travel? |
|
|
Although this may have been covered to some extent below, I was planning to visit Xinjiang in December and January and was wondering about the weather.
Has anyone been there at this time? I understand that it's cold, but is it restrictively so? Are most things closed or unable to be visited?
Winter sounds like an exciting time to go and I don't have any issues roughing it, but I also don't want to ruin the experience.
Thanks in advance! |

Travelling in Urumqi is good in winter if you are more interested culture and people here. But If you are more interested in Natural scenery then you have to think of other seasons.
In winter all the travel attractions, hotels are open.
Dec is ok but late January can be quite cold.
