Hello,
I'll be going to a Chinese Opera at the Sheung Wan Civic Theater. The ticket prices are $20, 40, 60 (HKD).

Is this something I can wear jeans and a tshirt too?

I know in the USA "opera" means suits and tuxedos but obviously this is a different kind of opera... what is the dress code (i.e. what are most folks gonna wear) for this sort of event?

You will see plenty of other people in jeans. HKers do not dress up much for indigenous cultural performances.
