China,Where to go... |

My friends and I are planning for a 5-6 days trip.we going to begin our trip from Beijing . Which is the good hotel? Also, we have not decide where to go? We are a group of 5 people, wanted to see something scenic in China. Is there any nice place to recommand? What is the best place/website to check for tours offered in China? Thanks |

So many scenic spots in China.
Had you had maybe 10 days or so I would recomend Yunnan, it has got everything you desire in respect to scenic places and more on top of that. But if you only have 5-6 days it should be something which is rather easy to get to... I would then recomend Huang Shan (the Yellow Mountains) in Anhui provins. It is a 8 hour drive by train from Shanghai. The Yellow Mountains are extremely beautiful.
Some parts of "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" was filmed there. It basicallly looks like the traditional Chinese scroll paintings, jagged peaks and clouds in the morning...if you are there at the right time, it's almost ethereal...
