Scenic Rail Trips in China |

It seems every time I've taken a train in China (admittedly not a lot), the scenic bits have been traversed at night. Can anybody recommend a Chinese rail trip (or two or three) with beautiful scenery and a daylight comfortable train through it? |

I have heard that the journey from Kunming to Dali should be very beautiful and since the train depart Kunming at 8 in the morning or so, you should be able to see the landscape.
