Can anyone offer any advice whether you are able to book a cruise when you get to Chongquin or Yichang or is it better to organise this before you get there? Also any recommendations on which way to go, up the river or down? I'm planning on going in August/Sep.

You can book the Yangtze cruise both through the booking offices of the cruise companies and travel agencies related. Of course it will be much better if you can book earlier because in this way you can ensure your tickets and get a better prices. If you only book it when you get there, it is possible that they have sold out all of their cabins, or you have to pay higher prices. Normally , cuirse donw is more expensive than cruise up . |
