China - Laos in 2 weeks - can I do it? |

I'm thinking of travelling in to China from Northern Vietnam and then out of China into Laos. I'd have about 2 weeks to spend travelling through China.
I'd really like advice on:
- places to visit/which route to take - considering I only have about 2 weeks and I think it would be best to stay in the South
- must sees (I don't really know anything about China, it just seems that whilst im so close I should make the most of it)
- is it worth it for 2 weeks?
Also, if any one happens to be planning/interested in the same route, it would be great to have a travel companion.

I'd really recommend only goimg to one of those places in two weeks, and you will be very rushed and miss out on a lot.
Yunnan is wrht two weeks, (Dali, Kunming, Jinghong, etc) |
