Visiting Shenzen for a day, just to look around.
Do I have to change currency or do the shops and cafes accept HK dollars.
Also any places of interest would be welcome.

For 1 day you'll not have time to do much! Try the China Folk Culture village - very touristy and houses real people on show to the paying public. Food is cheap. all shops accept HK$ but on a 1 for 1 basis - so best to get RMB (China Yuan Renminbi ) if you plan to spend a lot 'cos there's a small but significant difference. 1.00 HK$ = 1.06122 RMB |
