I`m planning on travelling part of the silk road sometime later this year.
I plan to go by train from Beijing as far as Kashgar and then fly back.
The problem is that however much I google search, I can`t find any information on flights from Kashgar to other parts of China.
So my first question is, can you, infact, actually fly anywhere from Kashgar, and if so does anyone know any websites that I can find out various prices ?
As far as Urumqi - Beijing, one webpage I found quoted me at around 250 dollars - is this about right ?

Yes, to Urumqi and other cities in Xinjiang
But Urumqi is the only place you can fly to other cities outside Xinjiang
Urumqi - Beijing: Noraml Price RMB2410
but if you buy it in Urumqi, usually you can get
discount. So the actual price you
have to pay is around RMB1080 to 1450 |
