I know Guilin is a beautiful place. But I have not been to there. Can you tell me something about it. Such as the scenic spot, the culture.

No doubt,Guilin is one of the most beautiful city in China.The scenic spots in Guilin have Ludi Grotto,Qixing Grotto,Mountain Xiang,Lijiang River,Yangshuo Beauty Spot,etc. The most characteristic flavor is Mifen.
When I think of the relish, my mouth is always watering.But now the weather is not necessarily good enough.You 'd better wear more.
Till now, it has 2000 years' history. There are some remains of the Primitive Society, such as Zengpi Rock and another 60 ones. Since Ling Canal that was the famous water conservancy project was built in 214BC, Guilin has been an important county on transportation between Zhongyuan and Lingnan.
Guilin is a picturesque scenery city that has a long history. People always say that the scene in Guilin is the best in the world.
Gui opera is one of the main local operas in Guangxi. Caidiao is one of the best one and Liusanjie was the most famous one.
There are a lot of handicrafts and specialties. They are art pottery, Sanhua wine, chili sauce, Shatian orange, cumquat, flax and so on.
There is some traditional food too, such as braised fresh mushrooms and Chinese yam, rice flour, wrap original chicken in paper, stewed chicken with clam and so on.
