find Hostels for a trip in Beijing |
|
|
My niece and I will be travelling to Beijing soon, and we intend to stay in Beijing Far East International Youth Hostel (as recommended) which is located at Xuanwu District, 90 Tieshu Xiejie.
We would be grateful if someone would provide us with the name and the address of the Hostel in Chinese.
We understand that we can travel by bus from the Airport to the Hostel, but this may be inconvenient for us as we have to carry our own luggages. How much would it cost for us to take the taxi from the Airport to the Hostel, and how long would the journey be?
Is it safe for us, as foreigners, to take the taxi on our own? What are the things we have to look out for in travelling in a taxi or are there official taxis in Beijing and how do we identify them?
Would appreciate very much any information and help on the above. Thanks. |

Beijing Hostels |

If you want take taxi to your hostel, it will cost about 70 RMB if you select the lower rate taxi, but most taxi in Beijing International airport is expensive, it will be 0.40RMB Yuan higher per kilometer than the lower rate taxi, so you will cost more than 100RMB Yuan(include the charge of the highway). The hostel's Chinese name"北京远东国际旅馆",the address is 宣武区铁树斜街113号,you can print the Chinese Name and address out, it will help you find the hotel in Beijing. Xuanwu district lies in the south of Beijing city.
you can pick up the Beijing Guide (English, free) at the airport. you will find many useful information there. |
