Hong Kong information ??? |

Hi,
This will be our first trip to HK, a bunch of 6 portuguese boys and girls.
We were wondering if someone could indulge us with some tips.
Where to sleep (budget - safe and clean) and the best places to enjoy local food (gourmet cuisine for the price of a big mac).
we will be in HK for six days then be headed to the Philipines.
Thanks so much! |

Lisa and Nathalia,
There are some hotels which costs US$40 for one double room. If you want quiet and cheaper place, you can rent an appartment/flat on island which takes 20 mins to downtown. It costs only US$60/day and enough for 6-10 people. you can mail enquiry@involvementstay.com
for booking the appartment and any enquiry
If you want local cheap food, you should go to Mong Kok, Sha Shui Po and Yau Ma Tei. Or go to the Hong Kong Local fast food shop, like "Cafe de coral", "Fairwood"

For local food, try noodle shops and roasted meat restaurants.
A bowl of won ton noodles shouldn't cost more than HK$20, while a plate of roasted pork and duck with rice would cost around HK$25.
You can find these kinds of restaurants on nearly every street in Hong Kong.
Maybe try to fit in a trip to Macau while you are in HK. |
