Two weeks in China, Feb |
I have two weeks to spare in China next month (flying into Beijing). At first I thought of doing Beijing-Pingyao-Xian but was wondering whether it'll be too cold in the north. I'm now considering taking a flight from Beijing to Guilin, then from there maybe go to Yangshuo and Longsheng where it should be warmer. Should I stick to my original plans or will winter really be dreadful?
Thanks |

The weather in Beijing is cold during the time, but congratulations that you really get a really good time!!! Feb 9 is the Spring Festival in China, so you can see more instersting things than usual. I think it's really a good experience. The bad thing is, since there is a one week holiday during the time, it may be more crowded everywhere. Air fair and hotel are also much expensive during this week. I think you can leave Beijing after Spring Festival, such as Feb. 10 or 11 and go to Guilin, then go to Hongkong. |
