I am travelling to Guangzhou for Canton Fair in April. As I will be visiting the Pazhou Complex almost every day, thought to stay in a hotel not far from it, but at the same time not far from city center, shops and restaurants. Ramada Pearl Hotel was one option. I am looking for 3 to 5 (but not extremely expensive) stars. But I don´t know if it is too far from city center.
Other options I think near Ramada are Mandarin Hotel, Royal Hotel, Regal Riviera. Are those well located? Is "Tianhe" zone good? I can see it is not far form Pazhou al least.
Other options that I was told are better located are Furama, Riverside Hotel, in the Pearl River.
I will appreciate any help. What I also really want are emails or websites of some of these hotels (Royal, Mandarin, Riverside, Regal Riviera), because I can´t find any, and I don´t like to book hotels through virtual agencies in the net. And I am from Argentina and the info here about Guangzhou is basic.

I stayed in Holiday inn,not bad location n they have shuttle to the fair,free of charge.

I can't recall exactly but i think it's around CY 900.Anyway most hotel rates are up during the fair.
