SILK ROAD Urumqi - TravelindoChina or Tour Agencies |
|
|
Hi there,
i am considering doing a trip along the silk road with TravelIndoChina.com
Has anyone used this company?
If not, can anyone recommend a travel company that accommodates people in their late 20's/early 30's.
thanks for your help.

I don't know the company you mentioned, but the itinerary looks pretty good. I like the inclusion of Xiahe, even though it's not officially part of the ancient Silk Road. It's more like a Tibetan detour in an area of Gansu province inhabited by Tibetan people.
I can recommend one alternative company if you are interested in following the Silk Road in Xinjiang and just beyond China's western borders: http://www.muztagh.com/
I have extensive Silk Road travel experience, but not with a tour group, so I'm used to reviewing itineraries for that region. One of my friendand his wife travelled with Muztagh Travel of China, they were so satisfied by this agency ... I think that would be good for somebody visiting China for the first time. Are you concerned that the tour group will be mostly elderly people? I looked at the tour leader profiles and they seem like a lively collection of young rascals.
Good luck! |
