Good place in Hongkong ? |

I've booked a 2 night stopover in Hong Kong in September and was wondering whether it's best to stop on the Kowloon or Hong Island Island.
Your advises would be appreciated.

Both are good, choose a hotel that suits you and with good transportation nearby. If you only have 2 nights, I would prefer HK Island because the attractions you will cover probably are those on Hong Kong Island. Markets on Kowloon can be easily reached by MTR trains. |

I heard that most people who work/live on HK island are "white collar" and those on Kowloon side are "blue collar" workers.
I disagree very much with this discrimination.
Kowloon and HK island side have both their attractions and reasons for tourists to visit and stay. Both are wonderful.
I always advise tourists to choose the hotel to their needs, wants, and budget. Transportation in HK is the last thing you have to worry about. |

Tin,
Most of the visitors will stay in Kowloon or Hong Kong Island and any hotels located there are also very convenient.
2 nights are also enough for you to visit most of the famous places in HK.
Kowloon or HK Island, really depends on what you are looking for. Briefly Westeners likes HK Island a little bit more but Kowloon remains lots of Chinese traditional stuffs and area which is worth to visit
