Hallo,

any recommendation for a reliable airline in Yunnan. Any reliable agent to book th eflights from abroad?

Is it possiblee to fly from Kunming to Zonghjiang, and to Lijang?
Is it worth going to Lugu lake and to Deqen in December/ January

Maybe I'm naive, but I just go into a ticket agent or travel agent and tell them where I want to go, and request discount information.

Within the past few weeks, I have flown into Kunming from Guiyang, Lijiang to Jinghong (Xiaxiangbanna), Jinghong (Xiaxiangbanna) to Kunming, and Kunming to Hangzhou, and all flights have been better than satisfactory. Could not tell you which airlines I flew!

The longer you can hold out, the better chance of a better discount - the opposite to a North American situation. This, of course, is dependent on the time you are flying - for the Kunming-Hangzhou ticket I bought it well ahead of time as I had to be back in HZ two days before the Chinese New Year, and paid full-fare. A few days earlier, I had a 50% discount on the Jinghong (Xiaxiangbanna) to Kunming flight, booked two days earlier than the flight.
