Train tickets in beijing |
|
|
hello
I am planning a long trip through Central Asia, China and then back to Europe by the train....
As I will be travelling during a while I was wondering if it was complicated to buy the train tickets for Russia in Beijing. I have checked already in the Lp and various forum and I still cannot get a clear picture.
Could you plse help me and let me know where I can buy my train tickets. I plan first to stop in Irkutsk and from there buy a new ticket to Moscow. How complicate is it to get this train ticket in Beijing? Where should I go and what is the cost?
Yhank you so much for your advice
Best regards

In Beijing, you need to go to CITS which is located on the 2nd floor of Beijing International Hotel (just one bloc up North from the main station).
You should be able to get a ticket for the trans-mongolian train which runs through Irkutsk. Can't tell you about the cost. Only know that on that train a hard sleeper ticket to Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia costs 600 RMB (about 60 EUR).
Hope that helps! Happy travels! |
