I've heard so much about the place...now that I'm in China (which I love) I've just got to go there for 2 or so weeks. If I like it, I may decide to return later this year to live there...if I can teach Business to people who already have some decent English-language ability. Is there a relatively cheap, but safe and secure, place to stay there...preferably with Internet connection? Of secondary importance is the teaching thing - any ideas on schools, colleges or universities where I might look? Thanks for the tips! |

Just buy a local city map and you can see. On Green Lake side there is Yunnan University, and near-by there are Normal university (which is actually teacher's college - what a name), Minorities university, Agriculture university etc etc.
Then there are plenty of private colleges. Just meet people at the Camellia and start talking.
Or visit French Cafe (near Yunnan University), where a lot of foreigners congregate.
Teach Business - don't know. But maybe can start with the universities. |
