My brother and I wanna to go to Xinjang in Junuary, but I am afraid of the public security of Xinjiang, is it safety to travel in XinJiang?
In don’t know any places except Haveanly lake nad skiing area, and cold you recommend some must seeing place in Urumqi ?

Don't worry about public security in XinJiang,It's safely!
many nation feature in xinJiang ,The best seeing place in Urumqi like GuoJiDaBaZa etc... |

Don’t be afraid of the public security , it is very safety.
Must seeing palce in uruqi are the xinjiang museum, the confucian temple, the shanxi great mosque, Southern Mosque, Xinjiang Regional Museum, international grand Bazar . And I recommend you to visit turpan it is one of the most important must seeing palces in Xinjiang, there you could visit Astana Graves Aydingkol Lake, Baizeklik Thousand Buddha Caves Flaming Mountains , Grape Valley Jiaohe Ruins Karez Channels.
If you have enough time and wanna learn more things about silk road, please travel Korla, kuch .Aksu, kashkar etc.
