hello. I live in Shanghai and on Christmas my familiy is coming from outside for the first time to China. We would like to make a short weekend trip somewhere nice, quite cheap and kind of warm. I'd like to show them Beijing, Pingyao, Xian, etc. but I'm afraid is gonna be too cold. Do you recommend me somewhere that is gonna let them openmouth about the beauty of China? Please, no Hainan or beach-destination. Thanks a lot!

Yellow Mts should be OK.Or Hangzhou, Beijng area surely will be too cold.Snowing then.
i recomment you Yunnan province or Hainan. Warmer and more sunshine! There are many packages on Ctrips with budget ranges. Check it out!
