Are trains in China a reliable mode of transportation? I note that there are many classes of fares, so what would you suggest for a foreigner to travel, say, from Shenzhen to Nanjing...(for example?

Are there Tour busses?

Can one fly to most cities, Guanzhou to X'ian?

yep, you can fly from Guangzhou to xian,the price is 890 RMB after discount.
