do all buses from Kunming to Lijiang pass through Dali? Most people seem to think that dali could be given a pass....any opinions? |

Yes,All buses from kunming to Lijiang pass through Dali. Dali is pretty cool with mountain and lake and be worthing coming.
why don't u see it by the way? |

I agree with Tax but from my own experience Kunming/Lijiang buses pass BY and NOT through Old Dali. Sorry to be pedantic but it was a LONG walk up from the highway (about 1.5 Kms) with a heavy backpack last time i did it. The driver will certainly stop at one of several Old Dali drop off points as long as you ASK HIM TO !!! The buses from Xiaguan/Old Dali/Xiaguan actually go right into Old Dali but not (18 months ago anyway) the Kunming/Lijiang express buses.
whatsoever, i had a great China tour at that time. |
