Hello here
I'm a writer and need to gather as much info as I can for a short article on gay Guadalajara. Is being gay moderately acceptable here? Any safety/discrimination/violence issues in the past? Is the area around Ocampo/Sanchez considered a 'gay ghetto' and if so how far does it extend? Any good support groups for gay people? What about lesbians? I'm familiar with most of the gay nightspots and know that there's two gay marches in June and even gay radio program, but I'd love more details. Any info at all would be appreciated, thanks in advance!!
