Cycle tour from Zhongdian to Lijiang via tigher leaping Gorg |

we will be cycling from Zhongdian to Lijiang, via Tiger Leaping Gorge in the last week of November. Two questions: do we need malaria pills? Will there likely be snow in Zhongdian? |

It is free of Malaria in Zhongdian & Lijiang. These two places are the Mountain area and located in north part of Yunnan. If you visit Xishuangbanna in summer, I think you have to consider about take some malaria pills. As you know, the main cause of the Malaria is the Mosquito.
The temperature in Zhondian is 0~9 degrees now. I think in the late Nov. it will be snowing. And I do not suggest you ride a bicycle during the wintertime in Yunnan. Especially to visit Tiger-Leaping and Zhongdian. When rain or Snowing, the roads are muddy there.
