Hotel near PVG Airport on a tour to Shanghai |

I will be in Shanghai on a tour next year. My flight out to Tokyo leaves at 9 a.m. so I would like to spend the prior night at a hotel on or near the airport. This will also give me the opportunity to ride the mag-lev train which would not be running early enough for me if I spent the night in town. I have located on the hotel near the airport and that is Jinjiang Inn Pudong Airport Hotel. Rooms are quite inexpensive. Does anyone know of this hotel or can you recommend one close to the airport. |

Ramada is very good. I stayed there once earlier this Feb.. Very new and clean room. Staff spoke perfect English. I think we paid something between 500 - 600rmb for that evening but it is exclusive room or probably business room if I don't remember wrong. Stardard room is probably cheaper. It is about 5 minutes by cab from the PVG.
If you will ever choose Ramada, make sure to tell your travel agency that it is the one close to the PVG as there are quite a few Ramadas in Shanghai and they are far away from each other. When I came out of the airport this Feb., I was almost taken to the wrong Ramada. Do copy the address somewhere to carry with you when you travel. |
