HI,
I am planning on heading to China for a flying tour in Feb, plan so far is to fly into ChengDu in Sichuan province,have a short break and take in Tibet from there, on train to Xian and then on to Beijing..... any "must see" things which are off the beaten track to recommend?

A lot of things are here on your tour if you have enough time,I tell youabout xian must see. In Xian you Should see terricotta and Li mountain .they are out of Xian city. there is also a beautiful mountain behind terricotta that is not scenic spot but very beautiful.
In Chengdu and Tibet also have more places to visit .you should have an itinerary before you go.
