excursions in Beiing and a trip to the great wall in China? |

We are in Beiing in january for 4 days. We are wondering if there are ways to arrange cheap tours to forinstane the wall, and other sightseeing places? Are there any backpack caf'e where you can arrange this? |

If you are looking for a good youth Hostel (and by good I mean friendly service and relatively clean lodgings on an extremely modest budget) then I would suggest Fei Ying Youth Hostel. It's 30 yuan for a dorm room stay and also have private rooms for like 130yuan I believe.
They will take you on a 10km walk along the wall (Jingshanling-Simatai) for 150yuan roundtrip. Its a beautiful walk, although I have never done it during the winter 
Anyways, they offer lots of different Great Wall options as well as any other possible tourist attraction in Beijing at reasonable rates.
To get there you just tell the taxi driver "Guohua sheng chang" if you're interested! |
