how about traveling to Beijing in March |
|
|
I will be visiting Beijing in march, which is off the main touring season, and quite cold.
I saw that the temperture are between 10 degres at the day time and zero at night.
What I want to ask, if it is a good time to visit China and Beijing in particular, or is it too cold? |

March is still cold, but is usually a clear, sunny month. It's when it becomes warm enough to get out again.
As far as comments about the bare trees, there is something about the stark beauty of the trees in Beijing. Anyway, many are coniferous!
I prefer the spring to the autumn personally, but agree that for most visitors, autumn is preferred: the ground is still "warm" whereas in March it is still "cold" and brown. Spring is, however, a lot quieter at the big sites and you will be alone if you get away to the lesser places in northern China. |
