Next month, i am going to china, and will spend two days in Yun'nan provinve, a little bit short a time,so, I can only choose one between Li'Jiang and Da'Li. Any suggestions? BTW, is there any phone rental agencies availble in China?I want to rent one.

Go to Li'Jiang as it is one of the famous travel cities in china! Forget Da'Li. I do think Da'Li is just the copy of Li'Jiang. Li'Jiang is a absolute chinese town that has escaped the bulldozers, with watermeanders throughout the whole town. Also, you can buy incredible arts and crafts in shops there, all very odd and interesting.As for the phone rent, i would suggest you one agency I once used,www.tourfone.com, just order on line, and you will get the phone in your hotel, also the price is not as high as US phone rental companies.So, not bad! |

I also think that Lijiang is the best bet. Really nice and dont miss the night time experience in the restaurants in the old town. Great atmosphere and unique setting!!! Try and stay more than 2 days! Ha! |
