hints on one week tour in Xinjinag in January |
|
|
I have the option to go to either Xinjiang or Bangkok for a week in early January.
Bangkok I imagine would be warm and fun but somehow doesn't seem like my cup of tea.
I was in Kashgar a few years ago and loved it, so would like to go back to Xinjiang, but I'm aware that distances are massive. Any advice on whether it's worth it for a week at this time of year? Cold doesn't bother me but will everything shut down? Are there cheap flights between Xinjiang cities? Interesting stuff in the vicinity of Urumqi?

as a xinjiang person I can't say say xinjiang is more better than Bankok during the winter,if you wanna see taklimakan dessert and the mountain that draped with snow ,you come, also can see urumqi ethinical museum, but one week is to waste of time in xinjiang, better go to bankok |
