what's the rate of getting the sickness under the normal con |

I spent one month traveling Yuannan and Xizang last May to June. But when I get to Dali and Lijiang, I got series of terrible plateau sickness. After three to five days' rest, I recovered. From then on, I have never got the sickness, including when I pass Rongbu Temple and Na Mu Cuo.
Now, I am planning to Daocheng in October. It takes me two days to get to Daocheng from Chengdu. During the two days, I will tour somewhere. I plan to stay in Daocheng for five days. Then spend two days going back. Because the time is just enough, if I get the sickness again, the time will be a little hard to arrange.
So please tell me what's the rate of getting the sickness under the normal condition? Could it be as serious as last one? |

This is very hard to predict and it is due to your body. You have to climb a high mountain which is more than 4 kilometers, and the altitude of Yading sight spot is higher than Dali and Lijiang. So I suggest you to ride a horse all the way in the area. Don't walk, and you can reduce the chance of getting the sickness |
