When is the mid-autumn in Hong kong? Are the shops in Hong Kong still open on the mid-autumn day? Is it the right time if I travel now?Thank you!

The shopping malls are open as regular, while the companies are on holiday. 2. The mid autumn day is on september 16th in Hong Kong according to Chinese calendar,so I think you can see it next year. It is the public holiday and the bank, the post office, and the companies are off work. All the shops are open and some maybe will prolong the time because it is holiday.
