once I have seen this kind of problem on someone.frist I tell you about him:
At 6:30 on 20, Mr. He who came from Los Angeles,U.S. will transfer to Urumuchi from GuangZhou. He hurried to the counter to conduct the bording procedures. The counter on duty told him that he could wait for the ticket which the passener sold back, because he did not reserve a seat in advance, and the only airline flight to Urumuchi has been full.
Unfortunately, no passengers will cancel their flight.Mr.He will not fly to Urumuchi until on 22. Mr. He was very angry with it because he had something very imergent. He explained that he had boought on-line ticket, the airliner should have reserved a seat for him.Because the on-line ticket he bought (Urumuchi flight) didn't decide the date of the airline. According to the rule that on taking international airline , the passenger must confirm his seat in advance, Mr He could not get a seat on the flight for temporarily transfer.( In such cases , the Airliner will not offer food and accomodation)At last ,Mr. He returned the ticket to Urumuchi and bought a ticktet to Chengdu where he transferred to Urumuchi.
It is acknowledged that there are about more than 30 international transferred travelers change their airlines or the dates because of not having reserve a seat before they fly to China for a transfer.Thus ,their route delayed.
So the relative department of Chinese Airline ask for the attention of the transferring passengers:the passengers who take on international or regional airlines,including on-line airlines should reserve the seat from the airliners. For those who has reserved if he will stay in the city over 72 hours he chooses to take on the airline ,he should confirm his seat,or the seat will be cancelled automatically.
