you are right , Those who buy an international ticket will be confused that why they have to pay the taxes on buying a ticket? Is it for the airport construction? Of course not. The taxes additional to the ticket is what the airliners collect on behalf of their countries. There are three additional taxes on an international ticket: the taxes for leaving the country, the taxes for passing the country and the taxes for entering the country. In some specific countries ,there are other additional taxes to be collected. For example, in U.S. they will collect customs usage tax, the airport tax, the garantine tax of import&export plantss&animals.
In some countries, there are free taxes such as in China and Phinlipine. So, if you will travel to Japen from China, you will be free of tax on the single route. When you return from Japan, you will have to pay the tax. Or you'll pay the tax if you start from Japan to China. For there is no tax of leaving the country in China, and there is no tax of entering the country in Japan. But they collect tax of leaving the country instead. The taxes change according to the rate of foreign currency at the time when you buy the ticket. That is why the taxes of the tickets are different between this time and last time on the same fllight. Of course ,there is slight change of rate. |
