hi guys
last time i was in China I was flying this route. This time i wanna take an overnight train with a friend. Can anyone of you tell me what time the train leaves from Beijing to Shanghai? I'm gonna go around Nov. 7th. And how much is it? I don't need something too fancy, but not a wood seat, i mean i don't actually need a sleeper ..

Hi there!
Dont worry about Hard Seat - it is not as bad as it may sound. I took Hard Seat the other way round from Sha-Beij and it was just fine. Charge: 179 Yuan
The Chinese trains are more comfortable than the indians. I knew, I have done a lot of train traveling in both countries. A hard sleeper in China is like a Soft sleeper in India. But of course not the European standard.
very convennient and comfortable from Beijing to Shanghai by train, it take 12hr and cost you 499(softslepper) or about 320(softseat). All the trains depart from Beijing at 7:00pm to 7:28pm in 7 minutes interval. |
