My parents and I will visit Jiuzhai and Huanglong during the October 16th to 23th. So could you tell me what's the weather like there? Could it rain? What about the accommodation and the bus tickets? Can I have the entrance ticket if I wouldn’t have booked it beforehand? It is said that there is a conference in Chengdu at the end of October, what is the exact date? I don't want to go there at the meanwhile.

There is little rain at that time. You needn't book the ticket. Your tour has nothing to do with the conference, many business teams will go to Jiuzhai Valley during the later half of October.
