I am going to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai from Oct. 15-23rd.
What do you suggest to pack for female and what type of weather should I expect.

it's Autumn here in China when you come here, and it will be cool at daytimes but a little cold at night.but It's a good time to go. Shanghai will probably be similar to South Carolina, Beijing and Xi'an will be cooler. Bring a warm layer and something windproof for evenings, cool days, and trips into the mountains (Great Wall).
