advice on the trip from Yangshuo to Dragon's terrace |

Will be arriving in Guilin from Yangshou early in the morning 8am and want to work my way upto Dragon's backbone rice terrace. Has anyone done this route recently and knows the prices, duration and method. Don't particularly want to do a tour so if this can be avoided then that would be great. |

hi.... take a look at the photos at the link in my profile for an idea of where to go.
price for the day bus (buy the ticket at any travel agent in yangshuo) from Yangshuo is about RMB70, and if you like they'll leave you there and pick you up a few days later at the same place. The guesthouses in the terrace area are about RMB20 per night, very nice and peaceful and the food is good. I highly recommend staying a few days as most foreigners just buzz on in for an afternoon and then take off. you can have the place to yourself..... I stayed at the countryside inn at Da zhai village. very very nice place and I loved it. |
