Xian - Guilin - Hong Kong |
|
|
Will be flying from Xian to Guilin and then from Guilin to Hong Kong at the beginning of November. Can air tickets be easily booked when we are in Beijing a few days before? Is there a risk we won't get tickets unless we book a long time before we arrive in China?
Tickets from Guilin to Hong Kong seem expensive. Would it be a good alternative to fly to Guangzhou and then get a train? Is the connection easy? Is it better to get an over-night train from Guilin to Guangzhou and then change to Hong Kong or will that journey take forever? I haven't managed to find train times from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. Does anybody know? Appreciate any ideas. |

I think you don't need to wrry about air ticket,it is enough all the time in china geting air ticket, you can book beforehand and also can get the ticket when you get the destination,no risk.
the air ticket from Guilin to guangzhou is about 400~590 as variety of aviation type.but the train between them cost 171RMB for hard seat,283 for hard berth and 413 RMB for soft berth.
air ticket from guangzhou to hongkong costs 640RMB and 216 for tax.I think it shouldn't be tough.over-night train from guilin to guangzhou takes 12hours and 40 mintus you arrive the guangzhou 08:42am next day.
i think it is better to take on airplane from guangzhou to hongkong because of no direct ot one-change train from guangzhou to hongkong.
as i told you no direct train between guangzhou and hongkong, also you cannot get bu changing once. so it is normal that you haven't manged.
have a good tour |
