Has anyone ever noticed just how many shoes there are floating down the Yangzi River?
Seriously I've just finished a boat trip down it and there were so many shoes of all different types floating down, by far the most popular bit of rubbish (aside from branches etc)......any particular reason you think?!!! |

Throwing one shoe in and making a wish is able to bring good luck. It may also be more difficult in walking, but just wish for another pair of shoes.
this is akind of costom I heard and most people believe in it,so if you prevent thm they also do it stealthly,so it is really tough to preserve |

My observation too but there has been a lot of homes demolished and lots of rubbish left about prior to the flooding so it is only natural that this would all come to the surface some time. And let's face it so much rubbish ends up in the river, not suprising all the shoes. |
