How is the best way to get yellow mountain? |

Hello everyone
I and my husband will be in Shanghai for the whole September due to work - during the October holidays we get a few days off too so I wanted to go to the Yellow Mountain. How is the best way to get there? Do you fly from Shanghai to Hefei and then take a bus? Or which is the fastest way to get there? Also are there any other attractions around there - I have got 5 days.
Or is there more to see in the Jiangsu Province? |

there are direct trains from Shanghai to Tunxi. you may also take train to Hangzhou, and then take bus to Tunxi. |

you should take the train. here's the information you need:

i've taken it a few times and it is a nice comfortable ride. huangshan region will probably be crowded with people during the holidays in october. i was there in mid week in late march and there were still tons of people there. but its a big area so you can find solitude up there somewhere. its a nice place. check the link in my profile for some pics of huangshan. |

There is a direct flight from Shanghai to Huangshan(Yellow Mt.), you can stay one night in Front Mt. and one night in Back Mt., another two nights in Tunxi (the Old town, worth staying there), and make the day tours to Hui Xian, Qin Xian, etc. |
