Can someone tell me the process of getting proper visa to visit
Shanghai? It would only be for 3-4 days.
Is it tough to get this? Online service for it?

In general, contact the Chinese embassy or consulate
in your area, or visit their website, for information. I
just got another Chinese visa, through a visa service which
dealt with their consulate in Chicago, the whole process
took a couple of weeks from the time I sent the passport
off to the service from receiving it back.
