do I need HK-China single entry visa four tour |
|
|
Hi
I am in China mainland. I have two questions
1. Is it worth my while to travel to Hongkong to buy a laptop. I am returning to My home in Ireland soon.
2. At the moment I have a single entry visa for China. Do I need a visa to enter Hongkong and exit back to China. If so how much does it cost?
Thank you for your help fellow traveller. |

Not worth it to buy a laptop over there. Decent, real, working laptops will be the same price in Ireland.
You do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong, but your single-entry Chinese visa will obviously expire when you leave the Chinese mainland for HK. Therefore, you will need to go to the Chinese consulate in Hong Kong and get a new Chinese visa, which can be done in 1-3 days depending on how much you pay.

The single entry was used up when you originally entered China. If you want to come back to China. then you need another visa. Don't go to the consulate, check out Forever Bright visa agency in HK.
