Travelling alone in Hong Kong - restaurant advice? |
|
|
I'm stopping over in Hong Kong on my way to India. I'll be alone in
Hong Kong for 3 days doing some shopping. The trouble is, I want to
try dim sum - how do I do this alone? Any all-you-can-eat or set
lunch type of dim sum restaurants? Any suggestions of Chinese
restaurants good for having meals alone? |

For dim sum: CITY HALL MAXIM'S in City Hall, Central
It is traditional and tourist friendly. Authetic and not overpriced. On
weekends, the wait for a table might be over 45 minutes.
For Beijingnese food: FESTIVE CHINA in Festival Walk shopping centre at
Kowloon Tong MTR
Good quality and nice setting. No fuss. Wait for table might be over 60
minutes
For Cantonese food: ZEN in Pacific Place in Admiralty MTR
Excellent food and setting. Slightly expensive depending on what you order
Less people if you go around 12 at noon or before 6:30pm |
