I read of Clarence on som tour or travel forums and decided to use ur services on our visit to Xian last month. Clarence was terrific. picked us up at the airport, had our laundry done, arrange for a driver to take us to the Terra Cotta Warriors the next for a reasonable price. (There were 5 of us,so we needed a van.) But, the greatest thing was that he assisted us in our pursuit of Hua Shan. He arranged to have a driver take us to the trailhead of Huashan at midnight so we could climb the mountain for the most ausipicious benefit. Then, arranged to have the driver stay the night and pick us up in the morning after we completed the climb, then, take us to the nearest train station that had an available train to our next destination. And, to top that, he lent us his cell phone to use if we had trouble on the mountain! All for 700 yuan (divided by 5 of us). Thank you, Clarence! Google-Clarence the Taxi Driver Xian

I have had good experiences indirectly with Clarence tour. I sent a couple tourists to him and he took them himself for a day trip to see the folk artisans and cave dwellings southwest of Xi'an in Hu County. They also had similar praise for his tour service. Skip Google and go directly to his website at taxitour.com It is possible to do Hu County on your own, but Clarence is the right choice for people who don't want to bother with the Chinese bus/minivan system to get there. So if you're going to hire a car and driver for a half day excursion during the tour, then Clarence is so much better than any other driver who likely won't be as familiar with Hu County.
