I'm going to be in China in July and August and was wondering if there will be a lot of mosquitoes in the following areas:
Bejing, Xian, Luoyang, Shanghai, Huangshan (the yellow mountain), Qufu, Suzhou, Luzhi.
I know that they aren't high risk malaria areas but I just don't wish to be bitten! |

In the central of beijing, that mosq problem is ok, especially when you are at some place that air conditioner is on . If you go into the mountain area, and if you are the type of person that mosqs like, spray some medicine on the skin, such as Johnson's baby clear lotion anti mosquito. You can buy it in the supermarket in beijing. live in Chengdu (not the areas you wanted) mosquitoes are very common here like most of china so i advise bringing some RID or Bushmans cause i lather up every night. |
