plan to cross the Torugart pass interested in the trip??? |

We are in Bishkek now, and plan to cross the Torugart pass about the 29/30 August to Kashgar.
We didn't book a tour yet, but sould we do it in the next two days?
To share costs, we search two persons interested in the trip (2 or 3 days with a stop in Tash Rabat). |

Hi!
Just wondering how difficult it is to organise transport to cross Torugat Pass in Naryn? Also, are there any opinions on the south side of Lake Issyk-kul?
I would be interested in joining you from Tash Rabat if it's not too expensive ( just one person). |

There's nothing really to be scared about this traverse tour. The whole thing is, that crossing the Torugart is, and remains, a quite and needlessly complicated and pricey affair where pre-arranged transport from a recognized travel agency has to wait for you on the other side etc... And that this whole situation benefits a cartel of certain Kashgar- and Bishkek-based travel agencies with the right connections.
That's all. |
