Simple Question: does anyone know the easiest way to get a Chinese tourist visa in Tokyo? The Chinese embassy's website is only in Chinese and Japanese. I've heard that many travel agents can arrange it for a fee, but I7m fling to Kunming on miles and arranging my own accommodation - so not using an agent. Any advice? |

hi mate,
I`m trying to find out exactly the same thing right now!
Somebody told me (although not confirmed because the embassy never answer the phone!) that the embassy don`t issue visas and that they (the embassy) say you need to get it from a travel agent.
However I`ve contacted two travel agencies today (JTB and HIS) and they won`t get it for me unless I buy my plane ticket from them (I already have my ticket!!!)
I know that in the past you COULD get them from agencies even if you didn`t get the ticket from them, however it looks like this might not be the case...........
Please let me know if you find anything out!
And does anyone else out there know of a travel agency - specific brach - which could get us our visas !? |
