How much time is need for a trip in Beijing? |

I am planning on visiting Beijing in November this year. This will be my first visit. How much time should I allocated to see all of the major sites, i.e. Great Wall, Tianamen Square, Summer Palace, etc.
Any help that you can provide is appreciated. |

if you are not in a hurry spend at leat a week in Beijing.Also agree 5-7 days to see all the popular attractions. More time if you want to explore at your one pace.
Additional to this you can go for 2-3 day trips around Beijing e.g. Chengde or Datong |

My wife and I went to China a couple of years back and we stayed in Beijing 6 days. We were a bit surprised by Beijing because there was more to see and do than expected.
