information on travel to Karakoram on the Chinese side |

Has anyone been up to the Chinese side of the Karakoram yet this year please? If so, what's the road like? Any other up to date information on Kashgar. |

I was there in Octomber! We went to Tashkurgan from Kashgar. The road was mostly tarmacked road or bumpy gravel road, with sections heavily damaged by landslides, which our driver addressed it as common in July and August. I remembered there was one section which was hard and the rest were all ok. |

This road is newly paved now, but heavy rain and land slides brokes some parts of the roads from time to time, still most parts of the road is good.
